What an exciting race with a stellar field of Mid-East Modifieds expected at Wythe Raceway
on Sunday night since they will be racing at Princeton Speedway on Saturday night.
The 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown at Wythe Raceway, Sunday night, May 27 will feature the final event of the $33,490 purse money for Memorial Day Weekend.
 
The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance is set to return to action on Memorial Day Weekend with the 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown, with $33,490 in total purse money. 
 
The three-race mini-series will begin on May 25th at 311 Motor Speedway in Pine Hall, NC for $2,000 to win. The first leg of the Triple Crown will coincide with FASTRAK’s sister series the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series, as 311 Motor Speedway will host the $4,000 to win Bill Hicks Memorial.
 
The following night, May 26th, the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance will storm into Princeton Speedway in Princeton, WV. The second leg of the Triple Crown will pay $2,000 to the winner in the Chevrolet Performance Late Models.
 
The Triple Crown Champion will be presented with a crown, robe, and scepter on the front stretch of Wythe Raceway on Sunday night May 27th. The wicked fast half-mile oval in Rural Retreat, VA will host the final night of the 14th Annual FASTRAK Triple Crown with a $3,000 to win feature. Tyler Bare of Rockbridge Baths, VA is the defending FASTRAK Triple Crown Champion. Also the Mid East Modified touring series and R & C Super Street will be featured.
 
Matthew Nance of Ronda, NC currently leads the points of the FASTRAK Racing Series Powered by Chevrolet Performance. Nance has piloted his way to a top-five finish in each of the first three races of the 2018 season. Rural Retreat, VA’s Kenny Peeples is second, trailing by 15 points. Ross Bailes of Gastonia, NC is in third. Travis Pennington of Stapleton, GA and Brad Basey of Augusta, GA are tied for fourth. Jonesville, SC’s Justin Wofford rounds out the top five.
