What time do races start and end?
Grandstand gates open at 6pm for most races. Bigger races the gates usually open an hour earlier at 5PM.
Hot laps/qualifying around 7 with races at 8. Start times may change due to weather conditions. Our goal is for racing to be over by 10:30 or 11:00
I’m not a race fan. Will I enjoy coming out to the races? We are located in the beautiful mountains of Virginia. The scenery is gorgeous. Dirt track racing is a little different than the racing you are probably use to. Even non race fans enjoy our show. Excitement Guaranteed.
Do you accept Credit cards?We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
What Are The Track Seating Options?
Bleachers, terrace areas for lawn chairs. Lawn chairs not permitted in grandstand. Some track side reserve parking.
How much is Event Parking?Parking is always FREE!
I’m not a race car driver. Can I enter the pits?
Yes. You may enter the pits by paying the admission and signing the liability waiver.
What type of restrooms are available?
We have the cleanest restrooms of any track located behind the grandstands.
Where Can I Purchase Tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Click ‘Tickets’ at the top of the page to purchse online.
What is pit admission?
Pit admission varies with each type of event. Prices for events are located by clicking ‘Schedule’ at teh top of the page.
Is there an age limit in pits?
Minors are allowed in pits with the proper credentials, Minor Form

Yes but no hookups.
What Types Of Food Do You Sell At The Track?
Fried Bologna, Philly Cheesesteak, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Pizza, BBQ, Corndogs, Popcorn, French Fries and different specialty sandwiches and desserts.
Can I drink Alcohol or bring a cooler?
No, VA law prohibits the consumption of alcohol in public. Small coolers are allowed.
What Accommodations Do You Have For Handicap?
Handicapped parking area. Wheelchair area for spectators. Bathrooms are handicapped accessible.
Should I Bring Anything Specific?
Always bring a coat, elevation is near 3,000 feet and it does get chilly at night even though the racing action is hot. It usually cools off at night. Bring hoodies, blankets, sun glasses, ear plugs and gloves.
What Items Are Not Allowed At The Track?
Pets, Guns, glass containers and alcoholic beverages.
Is there a no smoking area in the grandstands?
Yes there is no Smoking in the Grandstands. We have designated smoking areas in other locations.
Is there anything available for kids to do other than watch the races?
We have an arcade for kids with numerous games. Plus novelty items for kids. Also a line of souvenirs, T-shirts, hoodies and jackets.
Do you broadcast the announcer on FM station?
Yes bring you FM headset to listen to the announcer. Also you use a scanner to listen to race director inform drivers of cautions, lineups, restarts, etc. Frequency will be listed on program.
Are motels nearby?
Yes over 2500 rooms available in Wytheville, VA at I-81 & 1-77 junction.
